WATER:

OUT OF BOUNDS :

BUNKERS :
There are 2 shallow enough bunkers just to the left and right of the green. There's a rock hazard that goes across the fairway that could cause a bit of hassle for you on your drive.
TREES :
None
TEE SHOT :
This is a nice handy hole with a good wide target for your tee shot. This hole is short enough so you have a chance of going for the green in one. Don't try to get too greedy and make sure you just get the ball a decent distance ahead of you because you'll be left with a handy 2nd with nothing more than an average drive.
APPROACH SHOT :
In truth you should have nothing more than a wedge to the green for your second shot. If you lay up just below the drain in front of the green and try to keep it left you'll have a lovely open pitch that won't be too hard to get you close enough for a viable birdie chance. After that it's up to your putting.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
This isn't an overly tricky green but it is relatively small in comparison to some of the other holes. It's flat enough but the main aspect on this green is to judge your pace. Don't get too aggressive with your putt here or else you could roll off the green. Don't feel too bad for getting yourself a 2 putt par here.
OVERALL TIPS :
This hole is a bit of a giveaway. If you've had a pretty bad front 9 it's the ideal hole to put that to the back of your mind and let this be the new beginning of your round. A sensible play would be a wood or a hybrid from the tee to short of the drain in front of the green and then a sand wedge onto the putting surface and hope for the best from there. If you are on a bit of a roll the you may have the confidence to take a more aggressive option and go straight for the green in one. It's definitly withing range to those who can crack a decent drive with accuracy. If you feel you can't make it don't force yourself as anything too far offline could cause the green to appear very narrow for the second and bring the sand into play. This hole will be parred by anyone who can play this sensibly and with a good second shot a birdie is well within your compass. Even if the wind whips up into your face you may find it may take a bit more elbow grease to reach the green in two but it won't tax you too much. A par here should be a prerequisite to your round. Really the only thing that will cause you to fail in that goal would be a lack of concentration so don't let your mind wander during your swing because you'll kick yourself if you duff a shot or two here. Relax and enjoy the hole as it sets you up on a good run towards home.
