WATER:
There's a little ditch to the right of the green that a bit of a stream going through it. This will eat up any ball that goes slightly right of the green and it's something that you don't see until you start looking for the ball as it's blocked from view by a few mounds on the right.
OUT OF BOUNDS :
Just to the left of the tee box and over the ditch at the back of the green and to the right is out of bounds so keep it well away from there.
BUNKERS :
None
TREES :
The few bushes/small trees from the previous hole are a bit to the left of the green here. Only a very wayward shot will bring those into play but they are there nonetheless.
TEE SHOT :
This is a very tricky shot as you it's a relatively tight drive that you need to really need to hit long to give you a chance at getting a decent score here. Anything short or offline here could give you a headache and take a par off the agenda pretty quickly.
2nd SHOT :
This isn't going to be an easy shot as you have to try to hit a narrow enough green with danger at the back and to the right. With the wind blowing it's going to be difficult to gauge especially as it will more than likely be a slight crosswind. Accuracy is very important here and you cannot really afford to miss the ball to the right. If you are going to miss here then short or left is the place to be.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
It's narrow enough to find from the fairway but once you are on you'll find it's relatively flat so you've straight putts from all over the green. The pace may be a bit slower over here as it doesn't dry as quick being the hole that's furthest away from the coast. Like all the others it's a true roll but you'll have to get the pace right to go close.
OVERALL TIPS :
This hole is a potential round killer. On the face of it you could be forgiven for thinking that it's relatively straight forward with the slightly downhill gradient and a green that is within view. The problem is that you have very little margin for error here. There's not as much of a bailout here and your path to the green will more than likely be blocked if you go too far astray. Up by the green you've further issues with a little ditch that is invisible from the fairway and more trouble in behind the green too. You really can't afford to be too loose approaching the green. The putting surface itself should be ok but to get there in the first place is the task. Take into account a more prevailing cross breeze here and you could be really tested to get a par here. Certainly if you do get down in 4 you can be pretty pleased with yourself as there are some large scores waiting for anyone offline. Play it safely but play it with power and you'll get your results.
