BUNKERS :
There's 4 bunkers here. One in the driving line on the left hand side of the fairway, then 3 greenside bunkers. There's one to the front left of the green, one front right then there's another a bit further up and a bit to the right of the green.

TEE SHOT:
Haha!!!! What a tee shot. Have a load of cheese before bedtime and go to sleep and this is what you will see before you wake up in a cold sweat. It's scary. You have to take it over a nice bit of rough to a tight landing area where you're natural driving angle is straight into a bunker so you have to either try to fly it onto a tight fairway (unlikely) or aim right and not try to run out of fairway. This is a toughie.
APPROACH SHOT:
Another toughie but not as bad as the tee shot. More than likely you'll be out of position for the second but assuming that you will be in the running for the Masters it's a second shot that will be uphill into a green guarded by two bunkers on the right, one blind bunker on the left, plenty bumps and hollows should you end up trying to run it up from short and if you hit it anywhere left or behind the green you're looking at the long straw like rough on the small dunes. All in all a lovely approach.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
Once you get up to the green about 3 days after teeing off it's not too bad. There's a bump on the left of the green but the edges of the green camber nicely which should keep the ball on the green if you manage to run it up onto the green. Once you get on you'll be relatively happy considering what's gone before, nevertheless, it's still a tricky green.
OVERALL TIPS :
You'd better have a spare pair of shorts with you when you set foot on the tee box. Try to aim slightly right of the bunker that you can see over the miles of rough (perhaps that's more psychological than the real distance to the fairway). Once you manage to get onto the fairway you have another dicey 2nd shot. If the distance doesn't hinder you the tightness will. Please watch out for the hidden bunker on the left of the green if you try to think that it will be a way to get out if you're afraid of the bunkers on the right. Once you get to the green it's not too bad. If you can get a par here do a lap of honour for yourself, frame the scorecard, take a photo with the flag like you've caught a fish, email me and I'll put it up on the site as it deserves to be acknowledged.
