OUT OF BOUNDS :
Up past the green towards the back by the houses is all out of bounds so watch out.
BUNKERS :
There's a tricky relatively deep bunker right in the front of the green. It really adds to the difficulty of this hole. It's not impossible to get out of but it's really in your vision and target from your tee shot.
TREES :
None
TEE SHOT :
The tee shot here is into a pretty wide fairway so you can afford to give it a good crack from the box. You do need to get plenty distance from the shot as it's steep uphill for your second so the less club that's need the better. Give it a blast and hope for the best here.
APPROACH SHOT :No matter where your drive ends you'll be left with a steep enough second to the green. You'll need to be able to get a bit of control with your irons and possibly get a bit of loft to get up the hill here. Trying to get the ball to stop on the green may be tricky so try not to run it over the green if you can, in saying that, don't overcompensate as even if you take your yardage and play with your normal iron, the hill will take the distance out of it and you'll end up short. Use your head here.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
This is a nice green but with the height you are at it may be open to a few breezes so make sure you hit your putts firmly here. It's relatively straightforward here so don't worry too much no matter where you're putting from.
OVERALL TIPS :
Give the drive a right good crack from the tee here and use the wide fairway to your advantage. Even if you're slightly offline you don't have to worry too much once you have the distance. If you have a short drive the second shot up the hill will be a nightmare with not too much room at the back of the green to play with. You really need to make sure you don't overcook the second because there isn't much room for error if you blast it over the top so if you do miss it try to err on the side of caution. Once you are putting I don't think there's anywhere on the green that doesn't give you a two putt chance. It really depends on how greedy you get. Again, the pace here might be swift enough so don't get too aggressive. There's a well earned par waiting for you here if you play this sensibly.
