BUNKERS :
2 Fairway bunkers 1 in front of the other half way down the fairway on the left hand side then there's 2 bunkers beside each other on the front right of the green. Like most of the holes here they are nice little pot bunkers. The first fairway bunker is not too bad if you trickle in but it does have a steep face. The second one is a fair bit tougher to get out of. The green side bunkers are nice little testers. Set well below the green you'll need to use a 90 degree wedge if you get a bad lie in these.

TEE SHOT:
In relative terms it's not too bad. There's plenty to aim at here and there's not too much of the fluffy stuff. It's a very bumpy fairway so you need a bit of luck plus you need to take into account your next shot will be to a raised green. It goes without saying, avoid the bunkers here like a plague but that's a given for all the holes here.
APPROACH SHOT:
Depending on where your hitting this from it could be between tricky and damn difficult. If your aiming from the high left side then you're coming at it at a closer level to the right hand side which is well below the hole. Be wary that the fairway snakes to a certain degree as after the bunker it veers to the right then kinks around slightly to the right as far as the green. Make sure you note the bunkers in the front right of the green below. Also there's a fair dip just before the green which can distort your ability to judge the true distance here.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
The green is relatively flat slope wise. It tends to flow downhill from back to front. There are a few ridges here of course. One main one on the left hand side by the mound that is visible. That ridge brings a slight hill half way across the green from left to right.
OVERALL TIPS :
Try to aim the tee shot to the left hand side of the fairway. Taking into account the snaking of the fairway if you can drive past the fairway bunkers don't take them on but aim about 10 yards right of them to give yourself a 2nd shot that's not as low as the right hand side. If your not confident of tackling the bunkers then there's a wider escape route out the right hand side. If your going to attack the green aim to the left hand side as it's the highest point and if you miss it out there you'll be able to see the green. Don't take the bunkers on here. If you have them in your firing line take an extra club and play it safe. The green is partitioned in a way half way across the green so if your thinking of winning the Masters in the near future try to treat the landing area as two separate greens and land it in the respective half, this will lead to an easier putt but that's easier said than done. If you are lucky enough to have that choice then play it safe and walk off happy with a 2 putt par.
