OUT OF BOUNDS :
Don't go ploughing up the dunes on the left hand side or you are in a no go special area of conservation. It travels all the way left of the green also so don't miss it too far left.
BUNKERS :
There's a few tricky pot bunkers hugging the right hand side of the fairway 4 on the first half of the fairway and 3 towards the end but the most interesting bunker is the one that splits the green at the crescent. Depending on the pin position you could be better off in the bunker than on the green but if the pin is in the middle then you've some serious work to do. This is a real tester of a pot bunker.
TREES :
None
TEE SHOT :
This is a tricky blind tee shot, however use the rock as a direction and should you get a decent connection then there's a nice wide fairway to welcome you. Anything off centre though could be in a fair bit of trouble.
APPROACH SHOT :
It's all about pin position here. This is such a unique green that you could be left a better shot from deep rough or the bunker so take the green as a 3 separate thirds and aim for the correct one. If you don't get on the green but land in the correct segment then you should be relatively ok.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
This is fun. As you look at it from the front it's a crescent shaped green flipped about 90 degrees clockwise with a bunker slapped in the middle. The green dips from the relatively high point in the middle to the front left and right with some steep breaks coming from the middle and a slight drop off at the very front of the left and right hand sides. This is one for concentration but is as fun as it is impossible.
OVERALL TIPS :
This is a hole that needs to be played sensibly. Aim for the guide rock as the tee shot is blind and hope for the best once it pops over that. Then for the next just play it sensibly and use your eyes to see where the pin is. Keep your head down, don't take your eye off the ball and try to keep the shot straight. If you do, then you have some hope here. If not, learn from your mistakes for the next hole as you should keep that rule for most of the course's holes.
