MEDAL TEES DISTANCE : 426 YDS
CLUB TEES DISTANCE : 419 YDS
LADIES TEES DISTANCE : 390 YDS
PAR : 4
SI : 4
WATER :
None
OUT OF BOUNDS :
All the way up the right hand side. You can't even hit it into the trees. There's a few houses in behind the wood and they don't appreciate divots in their back garden.
BUNKERS :
One short and to the right of the fairway, then there's two fairway bunkers mid left in the driving path to those who don't take into account the dogleg kink. Then around the green there's a crescent bunker that hugs the left hand side of the green.
TREES :
All the way down the right hand side and for the first half of the hole with a gap from there to the green where there's only a few fairway trees by bunkers and then as you approach the green the entrance is narrowed by quite a few trees to the left hand side.
TEE SHOT :
It's tight enough so don't get too gung-ho here. Aim for the trees on the left hand side and fade it around the kink. Or else aim for the small tree on the right hand side and fly it with a bit of pace and hope that it's long enough to cut the corner.
APPROACH SHOT :
A very bumpy and sloped fairway will leave a tricky approach shot and make note that there is a slight dip before the green which will mean that if you decide to run it through you may end up short or if you land it at the front of the green and spin it back you could end up with a tricky pitch onto the green. Watch out for the bunker that starts front left and ends up at the back so if your going to miss the green miss it nice and short.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
The green slopes from the back downhill to the front of the green. There's a steep slope at the back that dips into a plateau with a bump in the middle at the front that gives a few extra breaks to look out for. It's lightning fast as are most of the other holes in the place.
OVERALL TIPS :
Keep it simple here. Aim slightly left and try to draw it. You need distance here and watch out for the bumps on the fairway. You may have to use your instincts as the ball may be either above or below your feet. The green is very tricky and if you go far too long with the approach there's a serious fall off at the back that you will more than likely have no sight of the green should you go that far.
