OUT OF BOUNDS :
To the left of the trees on the left hand side is the Showgrounds road from Cahercalla hill into town so don't end up out there.
BUNKERS :
Just the one. It's front left of the green and has a high lip to really punish shots that end up in the sand with a very tricky shot.
TREES :
All the way left and right and there's a few behind the green also.
TEE SHOT :
This will be one of the shortest holes you will play in golf. It's a matter of getting the right club and having a whack. The greenside bunker is the only hazard to watch out for and you shouldn't worry about the trees as the hole is short enough to make sure that you won't have to hit the ball hard enough to get there. If you don't get close to the green here give up.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
It slopes from the front uphill to the back with the back right hand side the highest point. There seems to be a bit of a basin in the middle of the green but it's a nice green where good putts are rewarded.
OVERALL TIPS :
This is Index 18 on the course and it's easy to see why. This will be a short iron or even a wedge to the green and if you're the kind of person who does well down the road in the Half Way pitch and putt course this is the place for you. Hit it high and attack the pin. Mind the bunker but that's the only difficulty here apart from getting the yardage wrong. If you fancy a chaser onto the green you can have a go but the best advice is to hang it in from the clouds. Once on the green you should be looking at worst at a par.
