WATER:
It's a bit of a silly question when you step up on the tee as the Atlantic Ocean is right beside you with a fantastic view down the cliffs.
OUT OF BOUNDS :
If you go way over the back of the green to the right then you'll end up in another field. Apart from that you have to look out for the Atlantic and Chimney Bay. Also there's a small ring barrow about 50 yards in the front right of the green and even though it's not out of bounds there's no play from in there as you risk the rath of the Kilkee fairys so it's GUR within the barrow.

TEE SHOT :
Options are open here due to the fact that the hole isn't the longest in the world. An iron tee shot could still leave you with a wedge to the green if played properly. You could have a crack at the green if you've got the shoulders for it. As long as you don't go left you're spot on.
APPROACH SHOT :
Chances are you're left with a shortish shot to the green so you can go up high or chase it down low. As you are at the top of the hill for this one any gust of breeze will feel like a storm so take that into account. Anything that goes skyward could take off or depending on the wind could end up behind you.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
It's a nice green with a few more slopes than the previous ones. Take the wind into account but a confident stroke will be rewarded as a true putt online won't go wrong.
OVERALL TIPS :
This hole is where you can pick up a shot. It's less than 300 metres long so you can give the green a good rattle in one if you have the juice. Even a half decent drive here will leave you with a quick jab to the green. After that it's up to your putter to do it's job. A birdie is a huge possibility here with a par well within range for all levels. If the wind picks up in the wrong direction then it could be a bit of a different beast. Certainly if the breeze is blowing the ball out to sea you could find a bit of trouble. In truth though once you don't go down the cliffs into the water you should be spot on. The cliffs can be a distraction so keep concentrating.
