BUNKERS :
There's a few tricky bunkers here. If you try to bite off more than you can chew and try to cut the corner. They shouldn't be in play but the greenside bunkers the small one on the right hand side and the large crescent shaped one around the left hand side of the green that makes sure that you need to keep it towards the short right.
TREES :
There's a few trees that stretch from the last green that will be visible from the tee shot but unless you make a complete much of your tee shot they won't come into play. There's also a tricker tree just past the fairway bunkers that will block your way to the green as if the sand wasn't bad enough.
TEE SHOT :
This is an interesting one. It would be logical to think that playing it safe would be the easier option here. Just aim away from the bunkers and keep it nice and easy. Not necessarily so. The easiest shot here is to take on the bunkers. You should have enough yardage to clear them and this is actually the widest part of the fairway and if you keep it right it opens the green up a bit for the second.
APPROACH SHOT :
Keep it simple. This is not really one that you can chase up as you've got a swale just before the green that with a steep slope so take it in high and if your going to miss it miss it short.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
It's fairly slopey again like most in the course. The green has an uphill slope as you look at from the bottom left to the middle then it drops away again to the far right. The highest point of the green is back left though so keep an eye on the putts.
OVERALL TIPS :
Try to cut the corner on this one. There's plenty places to miss on this hole as long as you don't aim for those on the 6th tee. Keep it simple after that and try to carry the dip before the green. Mind the bunkers and don't go over the green, when on try to read the slope. This isn't the easiest hole but it's manageable with a decent and gutsy drive.
