HOLE 6

BACK TEES DISTANCE : 419 YDS

CLUB TEES DISTANCE : 414 YDS

LADIES TEES DISTANCE : 408 YDS

PAR : 4

SI : 2

WATER :
None

OUT OF BOUNDS :
None

BUNKERS :
None as such but if you go to the right of the green the greenside bunker on the 4th does come into play here.

TREES :
Initially they don't come into play but like previous hole they tighten up the fairway right around the driving area. From the next shot onward though, the trees come into play as they line the fairway left and right. They are thick enough clusters but they do thin out around the green.

TEE SHOT :
It's pretty much a blind tee shot, the best advise is to try to aim it down the middle between the trees. Anything outside of that is dicing with danger so play it safe here. You may be able to see a white rock in the centre of the fairway that gives you a visual guide for where to aim.

APPROACH SHOT :
Pretty standard approach if you're coming from the right hand side but if you're attacking from the left it gets a bit more complicated. You have the narrow shelf to take on in the front left of the green and also the green does fall off on the left and to the back of the green. Hit it wildly and the trees will come into play.

GREEN OVERVIEW :
The green undulates quite a bit on this hole. At the front of the green it starts at a relatively high point but dips downhill to the lowest point of the green then raises gradually to the highest point at the back of the green with a ridge on the right hand side cutting into the green and bobs and swails all over the green. No such thing as an easy putt here.

OVERALL TIPS :
Play this sensibly and don't try to bite off more than you can chew on this one. Try to keep it as straight as you can but aim slightly right of centre to open up the green on the approach. When hitting your second try to aim it slightly left of centre as this will take away some of the break on the green depending on the pin position. Once you're on the green greatfully accept a two putt here so don't go too greedy on this one.
