HOLE 7

BACK TEES DISTANCE : 411 YDS

CLUB TEES DISTANCE: 349 YDS

LADIES TEES DISTANCE: 295 YDS

PAR : 4

SI : 6

WATER:
None

OUT OF BOUNDS :
If you go way left over the fence and start playing hit the beachcomber.

BUNKERS :
Similar to the last hole in that there's more quality than quantity. There's 2 greenside bunkers on either side of the green visible from your approach shot (which is nice) but they are deep bunkers with large faces.

TREES :
None

TEE SHOT:
Similar to the 3rd it's a blind uphill shot over the crest of a hill with dunes left and right. Use the strip of rough that cuts into the fairway at the base of the hill as a guide here. Aim directly over this for the best position. If you're going to go askew here there's space a plenty on the right hand side.

APPROACH SHOT:
The assumption of an inch perfect drive is made here again so on that basis you're looking at the hole turning to the left and a shot that is over a valley to a green that's just below the level that you are at from the top of the fairway. The green is widely visible but the basin could surprise those who approach from an view that's blocked slightly. You need to get the approach right as if you end up short it's a shot from well below the hole that awaits. The bunkers wait left and right.

GREEN OVERVIEW :
It's a large enough green here. There's a few levels here. There's not much between them but the front is the lowest level. It goes up to the second level close to the high greenside mound on the left and keeps on getting higher from there.

OVERALL TIPS :
Keep the drive simple. Aim for the strip of rough that cuts across and if you can get as much distance as possible. When your aiming for the green hit it long as opposed to coming up short if you can. It's easier to recover from an overcooked shot (assuming that the approach is relatively accurate - slightly left is a bit tricky over the bunker but slightly right should be a bit furry but ok depending on the lie. It's not the hardest hole on the course so a decent score here is possible. Again, shots that are any way offline will be punished.
