LADIES TEES DISTANCE : 331 YDS
PAR : 4
MENS SI : 1
LADIES SI : 9
WATER :
None
OUT OF BOUNDS :
None really but again, if you get a bill for excess baggage from a transatlantic airline for your golf ball you'll know that you may need to play a provisional...Just in case the guys in the Big Apple won't let you play from the runway in JFK.
BUNKERS :
It's all clear until the green and there's a bunker left and right but there's enough of the green to aim for.
TREES :
All the way down the left, there's a fair few on the right and there's a bit of a clearing on the right by the green. The back of the green is riddled with very thick trees in case you get the yardage horribly wrong.
TEE SHOT :
Hit it straight and hit it long. This is a par 4 but it plays like a par 5 at best. Play for a par and you might be lucky. Try to get level with the trees that encroach on the fairway on the left hand side. It's dodgy left but the right hand side is very tricky to get out of or even to find a ball if it goes into the brush.
APPROACH SHOT :
Chances are you'll be still needing a long iron/wood for the second. It's not a bad green to hit if you can catch a glimpse through your binoculars. It really is a long par 4.
GREEN OVERVIEW :
Thankfully it's not taxing really. If it was you'ld just take a scratch and walk to the 10th. Green slopes from back left to bottom right.
OVERALL TIPS :
You have to be very aggressive here or you'll be plodding up the fairway. There are par 5s in other courses that are shorter than this par 4. You need a long tee shot and a long 2nd and then your looking to get close to the green. If you need to lay up then lay up and cut your losses and try to pitch close. Take a bogey if you can.
